Lance Regan is a talented land and seascape artist. He was born in Vancouver but has travelled and lived in many areas of B.C. His paintings reflect the vast beauty of British Columbia. Lance’s family live on Vancouver Island and his love for the sea is captured in his West Coast paintings. His wife’s family own a Vineyard in Okanagan Falls and while visiting and travelling the area Lance has developed a style all his own for the vineyard scenes.

Lance is also a professional Jazz piano player. His love for improvising music reflects in his paintings. One can see the harmony of colours and lines that flow through his work, just as a beautiful piece of music.

He has been studying karate for many years and is a 2nd Dan with his Club. Lance is working towards his 3rd Black Belt and is a karate instructor as well. He finds that studying karate develops a keen focus of the mind along with toning the body.

Lance is married to Bev and they have two small dogs Jackson and Dollie. Several years ago Lance found this small scruffy pup that had been abandoned in the woods. It took several weeks to gain her trust and now she is a happy member of their home. Lance and Bev reside in Kamloops and enjoy hiking and photographing the unique countryside.
