Ronald
Glowe Biography:
Ronald Glowe was borne and educated in Winnipeg. He has exhibited his
work in Canada and the United States. Some of his exhibits have included
the Mid-West Nature Show, Kansas; The National Exhibition of Canadian
Nature Art; The World Wildlife Fund, Toronto; and the Museum of Man and
Nature, Winnipeg.
His paintings and prints have been used across Canada at fund-raising
functions for conservation purposes. His work has also been displayed
in corporate offices and prominent places throughout Canada. He is one
of twelve artists selected across Canada for the CBC documentary "Painting
Canada" shown on Canada Day.
Ron's art career spans some thirty-five years, ten years concentrating
on work as a graphic artist and sixteen as Art Director of CTV Television
for Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In our fast-moving society, Ron hopes to bring through his art the beauty
of our land and the wild creatures that inhabit it.
