Charlotte Glattstein Biography
Charlotte Glattstein was born and raised in Panama City and received
her formal art training at the Bezalel School of art in Jerusalem, the
Escola das Artes in Rio de Janeiro and the Emily Carr College of Art
and Design in Vancouver.
Charlotte's past solo exhibitions have included shows at the Pitt and
the University of British Columbia Galleries in Vancouver, the Langham
Gallery in Kaslo, the Grand Forks Art Gallery, the Tumbleweed Gallery,
the Summerland Gallery and the Osoyoos Art Gallery.
Charlotte's clay work is focused on the hand building of sculptures,
murals and other non-utilitarian subjects, using primarily low fire
clays in raku, pit gas and electric kiln firings.
