A graduate
of Emily Carr University, I have been painting for over 15 years. I have
had exhibitions in Vancouver at the Waterfalll Gallery, the Pamela Lambert
Gallery, the Herringer-Kiss Gallery in Calgary, as well as showings at
alternate venues around the Lower Mainland. I have been fortunate enough
to be supported by collectors in Vancouver, Calgary, Sweden, Los Angeles,
Minnesota, San Francisco, and New York. I am new to the glorious Okanagan
area.
"People are often curious if I align myself with any particular movement
or how I would describe my style. I have many influences but I would say
the work of the Dutch masters have been most important to me simply because
I love the way I feel when I look at the work. If people feel good while
looking at my work then my highest aims have been accomplished. Contrary
to the notion that anguish is the engine of creativity, my work is a celebration
of the beauty I see in the world."
