Penticton artist Laila Campbell has lived in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley since 1993. During that time she has developed a colourful and sometimes whimsical style often involving family and friends enjoying life and special environment around them. Laila likes to think of her dancers as a celebration of life. As an Okanagan artist, Laila paints joyful colourful works often using the figure in an Okanagan landscape. Her preferred mediums are acrylic, mixed media and oils. Quail often appear in her paintings, as does the sun or moon.

Laila's work has been selected for numerous group and solo exhibitions in Kelowna, Winfield, Kamloops, Penticton, Oliver, Vancouver, Sidney and Langley.
