About
us...
We thank everyone who attended and showed their wonderful support. All our artists as well as the Okanagan community have been kind, compassionate and caring in the letters, emails and all the help offered in getting the gallery back in action. What a loss it was in June, all those beautiful pieces of art! We are very pleased to be back in business and glad to be able to exhibit our gallery artists' newest creations in such an excellent location. We welcome you to visit us on your next trip to downtown Penticton's colourful Front Street and hope to see you soon! |

LOCATION:
. Our gallery has had to relocate due to a destructive building fire
this past summer, from its former location at 598 Main Street. The Lloyd
Gallery is now located at 18 Front Street, four blocks closer to Okanagan
lake in downtown Penticton and now only one block from the beach. Penticton
is in a sunny part of the Okanagan Valley, BC, in the heart of Western
Canada's wine country. The Lloyd Gallery continues to be dedicated to
exhibiting and selling original works of art by local and national artists. FRAMING:
We have an extensive collection of quality picture framing mouldings
and we can frame anything. We also professionally restore frames
and paintings that have been damaged or are aged or dirty. We are able
to fix and reprint old or damaged photographs using computer technology.
Unique picture framing requests are very welcome. FRANK: You may notice Frank is among the welcoming committee in the gallery for a period of time. This is the original Frank, a ceramic larger-than-life size sculpture by sculptor Michael Hermesh. Frank, known as The Baggage Handler, graced the roundabout by the Art Gallery of the S. Okanagan in Penticton briefly in early 2005 causing a local and international stir. View more pictures of the gallery. |
